We get it—when you hear "water-resistant jewelry," you might wonder, Does that mean I can shower with it? Swim with it? Take it deep-sea diving? Let’s break it down!
What makes jewelry water-resistant?
Our pieces are made with 18k gold-plated PVD stainless steel, meaning they’re designed to resist tarnishing, fading, and rusting even with daily wear. Unlike traditional gold-plated jewelry, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating creates a stronger, more durable finish.
What can you do with water-resistant jewelry?
1. Wash your hands? Yes!
2. Shower? Occasionally, but to extend its shine, it’s best to dry it off afterward.
3. Swim in the ocean or pool? Not recommended—chlorine and saltwater can speed up wear over time.
So, while our jewelry is tough, showing it a little love (like keeping it dry when possible) will help it last even longer!
